About
Ursula received her Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in music (voice and piano) from Augustana University College. She completed her A.R.C.T. Teacher and Performance Diplomas for piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music. In December 2002, she completed her Master of Music Degree in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Oregon. During her graduate studies, she continued to study voice.
Ursula has worked for churches as pianist, organist, vocalist, and choir director since 1988, accompanied vocalists and instrumentalists since 1990, and taught piano and voice privately since 1994. She also worked as an adjunct instructor at Eugene Bible College for five years, as an elementary music teacher at Eugene Christian School for two years, and directed the music program at Ballet North West Academy for eight years. She currently teaches with the piano program at O’Hara Catholic School.
At Harmony Roadhouse Music Studios LLC, Ursula teaches piano, voice, music theory and history, as well as Music for Little Musicians. She has also been a co-director at HRMS since 2009.
Ursula and her husband Rod reside in Eugene and are blessed to be a part of a great community.
